Looking to join a professional casting agency and become a paid background artist?

• Working as a supporting artist provides a unique insight into the world of movie-making and you get paid for it!
• The Casting Network only gets involved in projects that offered paid work.
• You MUST be over 16 years old and no longer in full time education.
• You MUST be able to get up early in the morning – a standard day on a period production starts at 6am
• You MUST be able to scan and email the photopage of your valid passport to prove your entitlement to work in the UK – this is employment law
• You MUST be able to supply your National Insurance Number
• You should preferably own and drive your own vehicle or have someone to drive you, as filming often starts before public transport begins or can be a distance from your home
• Please follow the instructions to upload a recent photograph of yourself. It must be a COLOUR photo of you ON YOUR OWN. You cannot be considered for work without submitting a photograph.
• The Casting Network has found that using texts and emails is the most efficient and cost effective way to check your availability and send you details of bookings and locations. We cannot accept applications if you cannot supply both these things.

NOTE: BY APPLYING ONLINE, YOU ARE EITHER BEING CONSIDERED FOR ONE SPECIFIC PROJECT OR BEING CONSIDERED FOR FORMAL REGISTRATION. NO ONE IS FORMALLY REGISTERED UNTIL THEY HAVE ATTENDED A REGISTRATION APPOINTMENT AND MET THE CASTING TEAM. If you have photos in the correct format (colour on a white background that must be approved by the agency) registration is at no cost to you. We will contact you in early autumn concerning the dates for registration later this year for 2011-2012.

Please be truthful with your measurements as if you are picked for a production a costume maybe provided based upon the measurements given.

If you your measurements are inaccurate the costume may not fit and you could be sent home unpaid.
